Palestinians need control of their people: Peres (AFP)

Israels President Shimon Peres (R) talks to the audience next to Argentine Chief of Cabinet Anibal Fernandez, during an award ceremony for outstanding importers and exports of Israel-Argentine commerce hosted by the Israel-Argentine Chamber of Commerce in Buenos Aires. Peres called for Palestinians to AFP - Israeli President Shimon Peres called on Tuesday for Palestinians to "show that they control their own people" before seeking UN recognition of an independent state.
